But growing the business has never meant losing the feeling that made it special in the first place.
Victoria has always believed that a bride should feel comfortable enough to be herself in a VBB appointment. She shouldn’t feel like she’s being judged, rushed or expected to know exactly what she wants.
That’s why our team isn’t there simply to put dresses on you.
We’re there to get to know you.
And although Victoria isn’t personally in every appointment these days, she’s still very much part of what happens behind the scenes. Supporting the team, answering questions, helping with decisions and making sure the VBB experience stays true to the values the business was built on.
There are lots of beautiful things about working in bridal.
The dresses, obviously.
The excitement of a bride finding her dress.
The happy tears.
The families celebrating together.
But it’s the people that keep us loving it.
We get to meet women at such an important point in their lives, and we don’t take that lightly.
We see brides who arrive nervous and leave smiling.
Brides who thought they knew exactly what they wanted and surprise themselves.
Brides who have visited other shops and lost confidence, then find somewhere they can relax and enjoy the experience again.
And, eventually, we get to see the wedding photographs.
There’s something pretty special about that.
Opening VBB Gravesend is an exciting new chapter for us.
Our original boutique in Orpington and our Gravesend boutique have different collections, giving our brides even more choice.
But whichever VBB you visit, you’ll find the same people-first approach that has been at the heart of the business since 2013.

Every member of our team brings something different to VBB.
Different personalities. Different experience. Different ways of seeing a dress.
And that’s a good thing.
